Artist Statement 

"Of course, we think of art as being creative, but the fact is if I sat around in my studio and waited for inspiration to show up, I would never get anything done. I still get comments about how lucky I am that I’m talented and that folks wish they could quit their job like I did and just do art.  I simply agree that it’s great. Hard work, a lot of thought, and some middle-aged self-confidence got me here. And I’m so glad I made the move. The possibilities are infinite."
