About Us

Mission

We enjoy helping people understand and connect to art, particularly art made in or inspired by Maine. We also enjoy connecting people to Maine’s natural beauty, rich history of inspiring artists and storied history in American art. Maine has inspired some of America’s finest artists, including Marsden Hartley, Edward Hopper, Rockwell Kent, Georgia O’Keefe, Andrew Wyeth and many others. In the 1950s and 1960s, Maine was an easy retreat during the summer months for the abstract expressionists of the New York School.

Today, Maine is home to artists who sell their work both nationally and internationally. Our mission is to highlight these artists, the positions they hold in the American art scene at large and the role Maine plays in their work. We’re open to all forms of art and are always looking for highly talented contemporary artists.

GALLERY EXPERIENCE

When you come into one of our galleries, you’ll find artwork from some of America’s finest artists—emerging and established, on both the primary and secondary markets. You’ll also find an easy-going, friendly environment where you can learn and explore.

Whether you’re looking for a single piece to pull a room together or a complete collection for future generations, we want to connect you with art that you love. You’ll find a wide range of artistic styles from abstractions to traditional landscapes and seascapes. We represent dozens of artists working in different styles and at various stages of their careers.
