It's with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of the artist Arnold Skolnick. Just a year ago, Arnold came to Maine to sign his iconic Woodstock poster, which was reprinted by Master Printer David Wolfe. 

 

In his New York Times obituary, Neal Hitch, senior curator at the Bethel museum in New York said, “Mr. Skolnick came up with the right poster for the moment. His work is so widespread because it superseded design and represents an ideal. Very few artists have managed to capture the essence of a movement on one sheet of paper better than Arnold Skolnick."
